A good start, but with a difficult 2nd and 3rd quarter, which meant that despite a fantastic come back in the final quarter, the Panthers were unable to secure the win.

U12 NBL vs West Suffolk Wolves - 72:56 - WIN

A strong performance away from home gives the U12 another win.

U12 Black vs Gt Yarmouth - 63:58 - WIN

A fantastic performance against the unbeaten GYB side gave us the win, which compared to the previous fixture when we were beaten by 40 points, shows the huge progression of our squad.

U16 NBL vs Cambridge Cats - 63:72 - WIN

A nailbiting final few minutes for our spectators provided our squad with the determintation to push on and take a very solid win!

U14 NBL vs Southend Scorpians - 62:79 - LOSS

A tough match against the top of the league team where we still managed to showcase our excellent skills and teamwork.

UEA Panthers Women vs Nottingham WIldcats - 67:61 - WIN

A fantastic win for the women at home continuing their solid season in NBL.

An impressive win against the 2nd place team reminding themselves of their capabilities and teamwork.

Following on from the success of our February half term camp, we are really excited to announce that we have set the dates for our Easter Holiday camp days which are as below:

• 2nd April - Year 1 - Year 6

• 3rd April - Year 7 - Year 13

• 4th April - Year 1 - Year 6

• 5th April - Year 7 - Year 13

• 8th April - SEND (9:30am-1pm)

• 9th April - Year 1 - Year 6

• 10th April - Year 7 - Year 13

• 11th April - Year 1 - Year 6

• 12th April - Year 7 - Year 13

The fee for each camp day is £30 and this includes a free tshirt. The camp will be at City Academy and will run from 9am until 3.30pm.

Our camp days are a mixture of skills stations, mini competitions and always finish with match time.

We are also so happy to announce that we will once again be offering free places to our camp days for children eligible for free school meals, as part of the Big Norfolk Holiday Fund, in conjunction with Active Norfolk.

We are also extremely proud to announce that we have now been accepted to be part of the Holiday, Activities and Food (HAF) programme in Suffolk as well and will be hosting a number of camp days in Lowestoft during the Easter holidays as well. The dates are below:

The camp will be at Ormiston Denes Academy, Yarmouth Rd, Lowestoft NR32 4AH and will run from 9am until 3.30pm. The camp is only available to children eligible for free school meals who live in Suffolk.

We are excited to celebrate International Women’s day this year - but instead of just 1 day we will be celebrating for longer… why not!

To start with we will be inviting anyone attending any of our matches this weekend to wear something purple.

We are excited to announce that the next season at Hoopstars is going to be even bigger and better than this season with the following performance teams being entered:

• 1 x U12 All Girls in Norfolk League

• 2 x U12 in Norfolk League

• 1 x U12 in NBL

• 2 x U14 in NBL

• 2 x U16 in NBL

• 1 x U18 in NBL

The age group eligibility is as below:

• U12 in 2024/2025 - Years 5, 6 & 7 in September 2024.

• U14 in 2024 / 2025 – Years 8 & 9 in September 2024

• U16 in 2024/2025 – Years 10 & 11 in September 2024

• U18 in 2024/2025 - Years 12 & 13 in September 2024

This season we will be hosting a 2-trial date process whereby we will be inviting everyone along to the first date and then selections will be made for the 2nd date where we will finalise the squads. The fee for the trial is £7 per trial session. This also allows people who might not be available on 1 of the dates to still be able to attend. The trials will be held across 2 courts with multiple performance team coaches and Claire overseeing the process. The trial dates and times are below:

Trial Date 1- Saturday 18th May:

• U12s Norfolk league & NBL @ 11am until 12.30pm

• U12s All Girls @ 3.30pm until 5pm (only on 1 date)

• U14s NBL @ 12.30pm until 2pm

• U16s NBL @ 2pm until 3.30pm

• U18s NBL @ 3.30pm - 5pm (only on 1 date)

Trial Date 2 - Sunday 26th May:

• U12s Norfolk League & NBL – 9am until 10:30am

• U14s NBL – 10.30am until 12pm

• U16s NBL - 12pm until 1.30pm

We will be hosting an information webinar for everyone on Saturday 6th April @ 7pm. If you are unavailable for this, it will be recorded and circulated. We found this useful for our parents last season as they were able to give a lot of information about the next season of performance programme as well as answering any questions.
