U12 Norfolk League - Home vs Bury - 29 : 44 loss

On Saturday we had another first for Hoopstars with our first ever u12 Norfolk League game, which is a brand new competition launched by the Norfolk Basketball Association. The team were fantastic, progressing each quarter, learning how a full game operates, with none of the players having previously played in an official game before, while playing some excellent team basketball. The team can hold their heads extremely high and look forward to their next game on Sunday 18th December against Iceni All Girls.

U13s HBL Tournament 2

A very enjoyable event with 4 teams each playing 2 games. Lovely to see some new faces from our hubs as well as the development of players who attended the 1st tournament. Great sportspersonship, team work and individual skill.

U15s / U18s HBL Tournament 2

A highly competitive tournament with growing numbers in this category. Great to see so many players wanting to participate and enjoying the opportunity to play with & against players from all of our hubs. A lot of skill, speed and teamwork today from everyone involved.

Some of you have asked when they play so you can come and watch so we wanted to share with you their fixtures. They would to love to see you at their games and it is a great opportunity to see them all in action.

We are excited to launch our brand new hub session at City Academy Norwich tomorrow with Coach Honey. All age groups will attend at 5.30pm until 6.30pm on a Monday.

If anyone would like to attend an extra session here please let me know and please share our post on Instagram and Facebook with anyone who might be interested.

We are so pleased to be returning to City Academy Norwich for our Winter Camp on Monday 19th December (Years 1 - 6) and Tuesday 20th December (Years 7 to 13). Our camps combine a mixture of skills stations, shooting games and game time and are always a LOT of fun.

We are so pleased to announce we are part of the Big Norfolk Holiday Fun (BNHF) activity programme. This programme provides holiday activities for children and young people aged 5-16 (or 4 if your child is slightly younger but in school) in Norfolk.

Children eligible for means-tested free school meals can claim free spaces on the activities - find out more about this in the FAQ section here.

UPDATE: We have already had a huge number of people book on and will be sending details of how to pay the deposit shortly. We will be closing bookings on Friday 2nd December so please complete the form above by then to secure your place. We currently have 8 places left but we might be able to secure more tickets and a 2nd bus if needed, so please do let us know if you are interested asap.

We are excited to announce we will be taking a coach trip to the O2 for the British Basketball League Playoff Finals on Sunday 14th May 2023. This will be such a fun day with 2 matches - the womens final followed by the mens final. It is also a great showcase of the best of basketball in Britain and provides a lot of inspiration. We have been a couple of times and have always loved it.

Prices for the trip will be as below and will include the coach trip and entrance ticket:

Adults - £60

Children (up to 18) - £52
