U12 Black vs Iceni - 70:53 - WIN A comfortable win showcasing the growth of this team. U18 Norfolk League vs Beccles Bombers - 61:66 - LOSS An unfortunate loss in a well fought match against tough competition. Sunday 7th January HBL - U9s / U11s / U13 A brilliant first weekend for Term 2 of our Hoopstars Basketball League. Our MVPs are below: U9s - Del, Thijs, Nathan U11s - Jess, Jayden, Lewis, Matthew U13s - Nic, Louie, Logan, Alex U16 NBL vs Kings Lynn - 78:60 - WIN An amazing result for this team who lead convinvingly from the the start of the match. Mixed Adults 2 vs Norwich Eagles 2 - 24:58 - LOSS A tough match for a depleted squad who will come back stronger in the next match. Mixed Adults 1 vs Beccles Bombers - 75:54 - WIN A brilliant win in a lovely match with some of our U16 / U18 players getting to join the team which was great to see. Friday 12th January UEA Panthers Women vs Worcester Wolves - 52:83 - LOSS A 6-women team including Claire as player/caoch did themselves proud in this away fixture. U18 Norfolk League vs Gt Yarmouth - 57:62 - LOSS A much closer match than the last fixture and it was clear that there were improvements in the team. Saturday 13th January U12 Red vs Beccles Bombers - 34:54 - LOSS A fantastic return to court for our youngest team with their highest score to date and so many positives to take away from the loss. U12 NBL vs Cambridge Cats - 52:48 - WIN After falling behind the team showed what they can do when they put their mind to it by pulling it back and securing the win. U16 NBL vs Cambourne Falcons - 126:42 - WIN A showcase of how far our oldest NBL team have come since we first joined the league in a fantastic win. UEA Panthers Men vs Bedford Thunder - 63:72 - LOSS A tough defeat for the men in their first match back after the Christmas break. Sunday 14th January Mixed Adults 1 vs Silverbacks - 59:41 - WIN A good win despite the very early start! U14 NBL vs Brentwood Leopards - 85:48 - WIN A lovely match where our team were fantastic from start to finish. UEA Panthers Women vs Sheffield Elite - 105:61 - WIN A full squad secured a great win in front of our home supporters. HBL - U15s/U18s The feedback from everyone has been incredibly positive from the first HBL tournament of the new year.
