Saturday 17th February U12 Black vs Norwich Eagles - 49:93 - LOSS A slow start put Hoopstars on the back foot early bit we didn’t give up and played some good basketball. U14 NBL vs West Suffolk Wolves - 106:44 - WIN A fantastic display of basketball to take away a brilliant win. UEA Panthers Women vs Derby Trailblazers - 63:53 - WIN A solid performance from the women who didn’t allow the opposition into the lead at any point in the game. UEA Panthers Men vs Uni of Hertforshire - 75:93 - LOSS Despite some brilliant play from the Panthers, we were unable to secure the win. Sunday 18th February U12 NBL vs Kings Lynn - 83:69 - WIN Thanks to amazing teamwork and great defense, the squad were able to secure their first win against Kings Lynn at this age group. Hoopstars Mixed Adults I vs Norwich Lions I - 75:72 - LOSS After a slow start Hoopstars dug deep and finished with a very close game thanks for a fantastic come back. We are looking forward to home match in April against this team, for some more fantastic basketball action. U12 Reds vs Mildenhall Jets - 17:80 - LOSS A mixed game with some moments of brilliant basketball. U14 NBL vs Clacton Cannons - 20:00 - FORFEITED WIN Hoopstars Women vs Iceni Saints - 61:30 - WIN An excellent match continuing the women’s run of being undefeated in the local league, and bringing them 1 step closer to winning the league. U18 Norfolk League vs Bury Bulldogs - 64:48 - WIN A lovely way to finish the weekend with a win for our U18s who after 4 weeks without a match could show what they have been working on in training.
