Another fantastic performance from the U14s. Coach Honey’s reflection on the game - 'It’s amazing as a coach to see the boys reach a level of consistency at such a young age in our offensive production. It seems the team has really started to understand the values of basketball we at Hoopstars look to endorse, and thus have begun to reap the benefits. The growth over the recent weeks is a massive testament to the team’s mentality and standards the boys set for themselves. Confidence is sky high, points are being scored and smiles all-around… no better feeling than being on this rollercoaster journey we call “development”!'

Hoopstars Mixed Adults - First session

Our first mixed adult session this evening was a huge success with 15 participants enjoying a lot of game play.

As we continue we will be adding in more coached elements to provide development and progression for the players.

Our camps combine a mixture of skills stations, shooting games and game time and are always a LOT of fun.

We have some extra tickets available for the BBL playoff finals at the O2 on Sunday 14th May 2023.

This will be such a fun day with 2 matches - the womens final followed by the mens final. It is also a great showcase of the best of basketball in Britain and will provide a lot of inspiration to our members. We have been a couple of times and have always loved it.

Prices for the trip will be as below and will include the coach trip and entrance ticket:

Adults - £62.50

Children (up to 18) - £52.50

We have been able to extend the tickets for our awards evening.

This event is open for anyone who is part of Hoopstars as well as their families and is an event for all ages. There will be a sit down buffet, games, a DJ. All members will receive a certificate .

We will be giving out some awards to members who attend our community hubs, Hoopz SEND session, Home Education sessionand our Performance teams (NBL, U12 Norfolk League & Womens team).

So that we can plan for the event we would like everyone to confirm their ticket numbers by Sunday 19th March.

We would like to provide our members with the opportunity to obtain basketball qualifications, including coaching, refereeing, table officials and statistics.

These qualifications allow our players, parents and Hoopstars families the ability to understand the game further, together with having the opportunity, once qualified we would look to offer you will opportunities to volunteer or work within session or games.
