HBL - U15 / U18

Another brilliant day at HBL for our U15 / U18 and good to see some of the current year 8s playing in the older age group getting them ready for next season.

A reminder that we are doing the summer HBL based on school year for 2023/2024 school year, NOT current school year.

With the current numbers we will run 1 match for each age group but if you haven’t signed your child up yet and would like to do so so please complete the form here asap; we will be sending out the teams on Tuesday 25th April at 12pm.

Congratulations Coach Mia on reaching the U16s Final 4s in Manchester this weekend with Ipswich Basketball Club. We hope Mia does really well and if you see Mia this week please wish her luck.

It won’t be long before the next half term holiday is upon us and we are expecting another fantastic week at camp. Below are the dates / age groups:

Tuesday 30th & Wednesday 31st May - Years 1 - 6

Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd June - Years 7 - 13

The camp days cost £30 per day per child and includes a free tshirt. The camp is at City Academy Norwich.

With a number of our venues having exams over the next term we have had to make a number of changes to our hub session schedule. Please find below what sessions we have running per day:

Mondays:

City Academy, Aylsham

Tuesdays:

Sportspark (Hellesdon Hub alternative venue), Loddon, Wymondham

Wednesdays:

Easton, Taverham, Wymondham

Thursdays:

Stalham

Fridays:

Aylsham, North Walsham, Wymondham, Swaffham.

We also have our Hoopz SEND sessions running on a Thursday at City Academy.

If you would like to sign your child up to trial for one of the performance teams please complete the form linked here by Monday 15th May. The fee for trials is £7 per player and will be due on Monday 15th May.

N.B. If you would like your child to trial but they are unable to attend this date please complete the form and the reason why in the notes section and we will make contact with you directly to discuss this.

N.B. We will continue to have opportunities for competitive matches for members outside of our performance teams such as HBL and NYBL.

We have been able to extend the tickets for our awards evening.

This event is open for anyone who is part of Hoopstars as well as their families and is an event for all ages. There will be a sit down buffet, games, a DJ. All members will receive a certificate .

We will be giving out some awards to members who attend our community hubs, Hoopz SEND session, Home Education sessionand our Performance teams (NBL, U12 Norfolk League & Women’s team).
