Norfolk Hoopstars is excited to introduce WHEELZ, our weekly wheelchair basketball sessions aimed at promoting inclusivity and increasing basketball participation. Whether you're a wheelchair user or someone looking for a fun and recreational way to engage with wheelchair basketball, WHEELZ welcomes individuals of all abilities.

About WHEELZ:

WHEELZ is our weekly wheelchair basketball session partnered with the "Inspire a Generation" programme from Sport England, a collaboration with British Wheelchair Basketball (BWB). The BWB initiative aims to engage 700 participants in learning and enjoying basketball, facilitated by 165 newly trained activators nationwide. We're proud to be part of this fantastic initiative!

Primary Objective:

Our primary goal is to develop new, fun, and recreational local opportunities for individuals to engage with wheelchair basketball. Through WHEELZ, we aim to ensure increased levels of participation and sustain a culture of sport, physical activity, and an active lifestyle in the longer term.

Where: City Academy Norwich

Sunday’s 9am - 10am

Cost: £8 per session

Location: All sessions will take place at City Academy Norwich, a wheelchair-friendly venue with available parking facilities including blue badge parking.
